What is the difference between S235JR and S355JR?
Steel grade S235JR has a minimum yield strength of about 235 MPa, and S355JR starts at about 355 MPa. S355JR is selected when higher structural load or reduced section thickness is needed. Both are common structural carbon steel grades with good welding and machining performance.
