1. What is the difference between PPGI and PPGL?
PPGI uses galvanized steel (zinc-coated) as the substrate, while PPGL uses Galvalume steel (zinc-aluminum coated). Galvalume offers better corrosion resistance and heat reflectivity, while galvanized provides excellent cathodic protection. Both are available with PE paint and are suitable for most building applications.
2. Can I order custom colors?
Yes, we support a wide range of standard RAL colors and also offer custom color matching. Please provide a sample or pantone code, and we will formulate the paint accordingly. Minimum order quantities may apply for custom colors.
3. Does the 36 gauge option work for roofing?
Thickness of 0.3mm (36 gauge) is typically used for lightweight interior panels or fence profiles. For roofing, we recommend a minimum of 0.4mm or 0.5mm to resist wind uplift and mechanical loads. We can advise the best thickness based on your project's local climate and building codes.
4. What is the maximum coil width you can offer?
