Product description:
It is a digging bucket with a powered arm rather than a plain bucket: the hydraulic grapple turns the attachment into a material handling tool as well as a digging one.
The grapple edge is serrated and the bucket edge is toothed, so the load is held by a biting arm and picked up by teeth.
Teeth are carried on bolt on adapters, so the worn points are renewed as parts rather than by rebuilding the edge.
A double acting auxiliary circuit is required, unlike a plain bucket: the carrier has to have a spare valve or a thumb kit before the grapple can be used.
The arm, the cylinder and the pin bosses are welded into a gusseted frame, so the service parts are the teeth, the pins and the hoses.
