Glass Wool Pipe
Glass wool pipe is a precision-engineered, semi-cylindrical pipe insulation manufactured from resilient glass fibers bonded with thermosetting resin.
Designed for ease of installation and consistent performance, these pre-formed sections provide exceptional thermal efficiency, condensation control, and acoustic benefits for a wide range of hot and cold service piping in commercial, industrial, and HVAC applications.
Features & Advantages
Excellent Thermal Efficiency: The low thermal conductivity of the glass wool material effectively minimizes heat loss from hot pipes and heat gain on chilled pipes. This improves system energy efficiency, maintains desired fluid temperatures, and reduces operational costs.
Pre-Formed for Fast Installation: Factory-molded to precise inner diameters matching standard pipe sizes (NPS/OD). The two interlocking halves or snap-on design allows for quick, clean, and secure installation without specialized tools, significantly reducing labor time.
Effective Condensation Control: By maintaining the pipe surface temperature above the dew point, it effectively prevents condensation formation on cold water lines, chilled water pipes, and refrigeration lines, protecting against moisture damage, corrosion, and mold growth.
Lightweight & Easy to Handle: Much lighter than traditional pipe insulation materials, making it easier to transport, handle, and install overhead or in tight spaces.
