1. Product Description
The High Capacity Rotary Dryer for Mining Tailings Processing is a high-throughput industrial drying equipment developed for large-scale dehydration and resource utilization of various mining tailings, including gold tailings, copper tailings, iron tailings and other mineral tailings. Mining tailings generally feature fine particle size, certain viscosity and abrasiveness. Excessive moisture of tailings will increase transportation cost and restrict further comprehensive utilization. This dryer adopts enlarged thickened wear-resistant drum, optimized anti-sticking lifting plates, high-efficiency heat exchange assembly and intelligent monitoring system. It can continuously process massive wet tailings, efficiently remove internal and surface moisture, and maintain stable outlet moisture index. With the capability of 24-hour full-load stable operation, it is the preferred equipment for large-scale tailings solid waste treatment projects.
2. Working Principle
This high capacity rotary dryer for mining tailings adopts gradient countercurrent circulating heat exchange and large-volume continuous dehydration principle. Wet mining tailings are quantitatively and continuously fed into the heavy-duty rotary drum by the feeding system. The anti-sticking and wear-resistant lifting plates repeatedly lift, overturn and scatter tailings materials to eliminate caking and wall adhesion, forming a uniform material curtain so that fine tailing particles can fully contact with hot air. Stable hot air flows countercurrently inside the drum for progressive heat exchange to evaporate moisture gradually. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet tailings moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding speed and heat supply to keep consistent drying quality. Exhaust gas and fine tailing dust are captured and purified by the sealed dust removal system to meet environmental emission standards. Qualified dried tailings are continuously discharged for subsequent backfilling, building material production or other resource recycling.
